Look Out for Citronella Ants in Hamilton, ON!

Citronella ants are now swarming! These pics and videos were taken yesterday in a basement in Hamilton, Ontario.

The homeowner poured what looks like a bucket full of insecticidal dust on the floor of his furnace room, attempting to solve the issue himself.

This species of ant, however, simply cannot be controlled with this product, and the improper use of it can put the family at risk if it becomes airborne.

This is a prime example of why pest control is best left to the professionals.
