How to Get Rid of Stink Bugs

Many stink bugs are resistant to insecticides, making them harder to eliminate. Stink bugs can be reduced in gardens by cleaning the area thoroughly. This involves removing weeds, disposing of decayed leaves and waste and washing all garden utensils. Power washing exterior surfaces may also reduce their numbers or remove them completely. To prevent stink bugs from entering the home, all doors and windows should be sealed tightly to cover any spaces or holes through which they might enter. If found inside, they can be removed with a vacuum. If they are handled roughly they will release their odor, but it can be washed away by scrubbing with soap and water.
