On behalf of the Board of Directors of Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the tournament organizers, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to you for donating a pest-proof mattress cover as an auction item toward our 22nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament.The Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce Charity Golf Tournament has grown into one of the most popular charity golf tournaments in the area, and this of course is due to the great support we receive from members of the corporate and business sectors such as you.

This year’s tournament was once again a great success as we were able to raise $20,000.00, resulting in an amazing total of $415,000.00 raised over the 22 year history of the tournament. The tournament was highlighted by the appearance of hockey stars past and present including four-time Stanley Cup Champion Pete Mahovlich., Les Binkley, Justin Peters, and Paul MacDermid.

We’re always overwhelmed by the support that we receive from the community – it’s what motivates us. Crime Stoppers is an organization which combines law enforcement, the media, and the community in a cooperative effort to fight crime.

As a non-profit organization we’re always looking for ways in which to encourage the public to become involved and to utilize our Tips Line at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and our online Web Tips service at www.tipsubmit.com. Your support greatly assists us in delivering our message throughout the Grey and Bruce region and towards making our communities safer places to live.

Indeed, our statistics speak for themselves in reflecting the success of the program. Since inception in 1987 tips to Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce have resulted in over 1,488 arrests, solved 2,526 cases, and resulted in the seizure of over 50.8 Million dollars in stolen property and illegal drugs.
